Saving a PEAK "Patch" to Novations Components

This article will go over how to save Patches to your Peak and how to save them to Novation Components. 

Banks A and B will have Factory Presets loaded on to Peak. Banks C and D are empty banks for User saved patches.

Saving a Patch on Peak 

Create a Patch on your Peak

Also to note Selecting "Initialize" will create an Initialize Patch

When you are ready to save your Patch select Save on the left side.

Rename the Patch

Select Save again, and we can select the destination.

Select Save again select the category and select save one last time now the Patch will be saved to the Peak.

Saving Patches from Peak to Novation Components

Open Novation Components (standalone or Components.Novationmusic.com)

For the Components website you will need to use Google Chrome as a browser

Lets make sure via the USB cable the Peak is connected to the computer.

Sign in using our Facebook or Google Account.

If you choose to not sign in with Google or Facebook you can use the standalone version of the software and save to your computer but not to the cloud.

Select Peak at the top and make sure Peak is getting connected to Components. (select the button Peak at the left corner if it doesn't connect automatically)

Now Select "Get Bank from Peak". This will send Bank A, B, C or D to Novation Components. Select Bank C

 Once your bank is loaded into Novation Components we can now save the Bank full of Patches.

Select "Save to Cloud" and this will save to your Components Account. (you can see this on the left hand side under "Users". Next to this "Novation" will have factory preset patches Banks A and B)

Save the name desired and it will save into a User Pack.

 If you would like you can Save the User Bank to the computer. 

This will save a Sysex file to the computer and you can open any saved User Packs by selecting "Open Bank" and selecting the sysex file.
