Applies to: SuperNova, SuperNova II
The preset Performances use between 1 and 6 parts each. Most of the layered Performances only use 2 or 3 Parts. The remaining parts have been deactivated by setting the polyphony to “off”. If these parts are required, set the polyphony to either “poly”, “mono”, or “prog”. A setting of Poly will set the part to play more than one note at a time (polyphonic), A setting of Mono will set the part to play one note at a time (monophonic). A setting of Prog will set the part polyphony to follow the polyphony setting already used in any program which is then assigned to the part. For example, if a monophonic program is assigned to a part, the part polyphony will be monophonic.
Other causes of parts not sounding are: a part volume level of 000 has been received; the MIDI channel for the part is incorrect; the part range or velocity switching for the part is incorrect; the part has been set to a different audio output pair.
