I purchased the audio import feature but to reinstall it I am being asked to pay again.

If you reinstall the Launchpad app, you may need to reinstall the audio import feature.

To reinstall the audio import feature you should select 'Restore purchases' in the in-app store. If this doesn't work, you should 'buy' audio import again. As long as you're using the same iTunes account as you originally purchased the feature with, you won't be charged.
