This section teaches you how to install GForce's Novation Bass Station plugin, step-by-step.

I've never installed a GForce plugin before

To install Novation Bass Station by GForce:

1. Go to: id.focusritegroup.com/my-software.

   1. If you're prompted, log in with your Novation account.

      

2. Click on My Software at the top of the page.

   

3. Scroll down until you see Novation Bass Station by GForce.

   

4. Click View details. 

   

5. Click Show me my code to reveal your unique activation code.

   

6. Click the Copy button to the right, to copy the code.

   

7. Go to the sign-up page on the GForce website: gforcesoftware.com/sign-up 
8. If you already have a GForce account, skip to the section, I have installed a GForce plugin before.

9. Enter your details to complete the registration form.

   

10. Click REGISTER.

11. Once on your GForce MY ACCOUNT page, click ENTER PRODUCT KEY under REGISTER A PRODUCT.

    

12. Click the PRODUCT drop-down menu and choose Novation Bass Station.

13. Paste the activation code you copied from your Novation account in step 6 into the ACTIVATION CODE field and click REGISTER.

    

14. Now, click VIEW MY INSTRUMENTS.

    

15. Click VIEW INSTRUMENT to the right of the Novation Bass Station.

    

16. Click the DOWNLOAD button to the right of the latest version for your computer's operating system, macOS or Windows.

    

17. The software installer will download to your computer's Downloads folder.
18. Go to your computer's Downloads folder and run the downloaded file.
19. (Windows only) Click Yes if you're asked Do you want to allow this app to make chances to your device?.
20. Go through the steps in the installer to make sure the plugin is installed.

Close the installer once it's finished.

Now the installation has finished, you can close the installer and start to use your Bass Station plugin, either standalone or in your DAW. To learn more, move onto the next section.
