This applies to: Peak and Summit
Starting in firmware version 1.3 (Peak) and 1.1 (Summit), you now have the ability to save user waveforms into the wavetable part of the instruments. Using the Wavetable Editor in Components, you can easily create user wavetables and send them to the Peak/Summit to play them and edit in real-time.
In order to store these wavetables on the instrument itself there is an additional step we must take outside of Components.
After you have finished creating a new wavetable in Components, the first thing you want to do is select the User Wavetable Slot you would like to use then press Send to Summit/Peak.
At this stage it would also be a good idea to save the wavetable locally to your computer as a backup.
From here, we can go to our instrument and enter the OSC Menu. Use the 'Page' button to scroll to page 9/9.
Scroll until you find your user waveform, click save. The wavetable is now saved to the hardware. You can restart the unit and the user wavetable will still be saved to its dedicated slot.
This process must be repeated each time you would like to store a user wavetable onto the hardware. Otherwise, when you restart the unit, your user wavetable will no longer be loaded onto the Peak/Summit.
The following video demonstrates the process of saving a user wavetable to your Peak/Summit.
