How many Automap wrapped plugins can I simultaneously run?

VST:
As many VST plug-ins as you like can be wrapped at once. A maximum of 253 wrapped plugin instances can run at any one time.

Audio Units:
A maximum of 256 AudioUnit plugins can be wrapped at once.
