Older V1 Drumstations can have older firmware versions installed. The latest version is 1.3. Most Drumstations will have this fitted, and all newer D-Stations will automatically have this fitted.

You can check your firmware version by powering the Drumstation on while holding down the Audition button. The display will show the OS version. (13 = OS version 1.3).

If the OS version of a V1 Drumstation is 1.3 then the only difference between the V1 and V2 Drumstation is the box, that's it.

Electronically and operationally, these units are identical.
