Applies to: Bass Station Rack
The Bass Station rack comes preloaded with 40 sounds. The first 40 programs (00 to 39 inc) are stored in Read Only Memory or ROM. The remaining 60 sounds are programmed as identical initial patches for a good starting point for sound creation. Consequently, as the factory sounds cannot be overwritten and the remaining patches are simply “inits” there is no user reset procedure for the Bass Station Rack. If a rack is serviced, it is possible that the unit will be factory initialised. This will erase any user sounds stored in the RAM memory, so always make a back-up of sounds if you have to send a unit in for service. The Bass Station rack stores user sounds in a memory device that does not require back up power, therefore the Bass Station rack does not have a back-up battery.
