Applies to: ReMOTE SL
There are 2 ways to transpose with the SL. The first is to transpose globally, this means the transposition applies to all the templates. First, you'll need to press 'template' twice, then set Zones to 'global'. Now press 'global' twice, set Zones to 'On'. Now all 4 zones are turned on. So you'll need to turn off the other 3 zones. Therefore, go to zone 2, 3, 4 and set these Ports to 'OFF'. Only zone 1 is being transmitted now. You can now adjust the transposition and velocity curve. Make sure the low note is set to C-2 and the high note is set to G8 to transpose the entire range and that it is output to the correct ports.
The second method is to transpose only for a certain template. Select the template you want. Double press the global button and make sure zones is set to off. Now double press the template button and set zones to 'ON'. Again, all 4 zones are turned on. So you'll need to turn off the other 3 zones. Therefore, go to zone 2, 3, 4 and set these Ports to 'OFF'. Only zone 1 is being transmitted now. You are now free to assign a transpose and velocity curve for this template. Again make sure the low note is set to C-2 and the high note is set to G8 to transpose the entire range and is output to the correct ports.
Hopefully, it should be clear by now, you can set up zones globally and for the specific template by adjusting the low and high note in each zone and what ports these messages are sent out to, as well as the transposition and velocity curve of each zone.
