Applies to: Bass Station II
Bass Station II can export User presets as individual SysEx files. This is useful if you want to load the keyboard with certain presets whilst leaving the rest intact as you can place a patch anywhere you like. Also, if you restore the factory presets file it will initialise all User presets.
By exporting your User presets as you make them and building your own User library you can then pick and choose what to import into the keyboard.
When using a program (such as SysEx Librarian) to receive a SysEx file, set 'Destination' to Bass Station II and click 'Record One'. You will see a message saying 'Waiting for SysEx Message'. On the keyboard find the User preset you want to export and hold the Function button whilst pressing the top C key (Dump). To send the file hold Function and press Dump again.
To store all patches from the Bass Station II hold the Function button whilst pressing the top C key (Dump). Then use the Patch/Value buttons to select aLL, to send the files hold Function and press Dump again.
