Change User Channel on Launchpad MK2/Pro

This article will cover how to change the User channel of the launchpad MK2 and the Launchpad Pro.

The user channel is used for LED feedback and MIDI input from your Launchpad.

Launchpad Mk2

Hold down the Session, User 1, User 2 and Mixer buttons while connecting the USB cable.

You will then see this display:

The User channel is changed with the 3rd row of pads from the top. The default setting for this is Channel 6

Please hold down the setup button with the Launchpad Pro turned on, you will then see this display:

The user channel is changed with the bottom two pad rows.

The default setting for this is 6.
