To clear an overlay bank, you can create a new empty overlay bank in Components and send it to Bass Station II.

To do so, navigate to AFX Mode > Create Overlay Bank:

Click on Send to Bass Station II:

Then select the overlay bank slot you like to clear (1-8) and click on Overwrite Bank:

By default, overlays banks 1-4 are filled, banks 5-8 are “transparent” and you will hear the underlying patch.
