We recommend using the original USB cable where possible.

1. Download and install MIDI-OX. This can be found by following the link below:
   • • MIDI-OX
2. Download the attached .syx file.
3. Hold down the 'Shift', '+' and '-' buttons of the Impulse, then connect the USB cable. This will access the Boot menu. 'Exit' should be displayed on the Impulse's LCD.
4. Open MIDI-OX, click on the 'Options' menu and select 'MIDI Devices'.
5. Ensure 'Impulse' is highlighted in the 'MIDI Output' section.
6. Click 'OK'.
7. Drag the .syx file into the MIDI-OX window. The 'SysEx View and Scratchpad' window should appear.
8. Click on the 'Command Window' menu.
9. Select 'Send Sysex'.

The Impulse's LCD should display the word 'Update'. Wait for the update to complete.
