Applies to: Launchpad Mini, Launchpad Mini [MK3], Launchpad [MK2], Launchpad X, Launchpad Pro, Launchpad Pro [MK3] (other Launchpad models are not supported in Ampify studio)

You're able to use your Launchpad to take hands-on control of Ampify Studio, this includes:

• Trigger sounds with pads

• Start/stop playback

• Launch and Loop Sections

• Navigate the grid

• Enabling recording to a cell

• Control Global Effects

To use your Launchpad in Ampify Studio, Connect your Launchpad to your computer using the provided USB cable. 

You should see a rainbow animation on your Launchpad, then it should automatically open in Session mode (please note Drums, keys, and User modes will not work in Ampify Studio).

The Launchpad connects in a plug-and-play style, meaning all you have to do is open Ampify Studio and connect your Launchpad to your desktop. Your Launchpad will then be ready to use. 

You'll notice the Controller icon displays a short animation of the Ampify Studio logo, which shows your Launchpad is now connected.

We have included an interactive help menu for each Launchpad we support, which will be displayed every time you connect your Launchpad (you can untick the box at the bottom of the help menu to disable this option). Click a button and a description will appear informing you what that particular button does.

You can open this help menu any time by clicking the Controllers Icon, then click the three dots on the Launchpad you have connected and click Open Help.
