You can purchase additional sound drops to use in Novation Play. In this article, we'll take you through the process, starting from inside Novation Play itself. 

Browsing Sounds

Firstly, access the preset browser by clicking on the preset name in the centre of the window:

Then select Login:

You'll be taken to the id.focusritegroup.com page, where you may already be logged in, if not, please sign in as directed: 

Once done you can browse the store for more sounds. 

Placing an order

Add any you'd like to buy to your basket and head to checkout. 

Here you'll be asked to provide your email address, regardless of your login status. You'll also be asked to provide delivery information. As this is a software purchase no delivery will take place, this is used for our hardware products but in this case will serve as billing information. 

Fill in payment information and then click "Place Order". You'll then be taken to the confirmation page: 

You'll also see tracking information here, which is not relevant to this order as it is for software. 

Look out for the confirmation email, this confirms the order has been successful.

This is an automated email which covers both hardware and software purchases, the relevant message is "Any purchased sound packs will appear to your plugin shortly". 

Accessing purchased packs

Go back to Novation Play, access the browser once again and select Packs, then use the refresh button to display newly purchased packs:

You should then see available packs to be installed:

You can either select the installed Pack to view all of its sounds, or view the full list of sounds and see them highlighted.
