Affects users on macOS 10.12.0 or earlier or Windows XP
When loading Components you may be greeted with a blank screen or security error.
This is caused by a certification error that only affects these older operating systems. You can download an updated Certificate for your system here: letsencrypt.org/certs/isrgrootx1.der
Once downloaded, open the Keychain Access app (Applications > Utilities) and drag that file into the System section, entering the system password as prompted:
Then find the ISRG Root X1 certificate in System and double-click on it, open the Trust menu and change “Use System Defaults” to “Always Trust”, then close that and enter your password to confirm the change (if prompted).
