A Factory Reset will restore all settings to their default state, reset all Custom Modes to their Factory state, and enable the mass storage mode used for Easy Start.
Launchpads
The process is the same for all three Launchpads. To reset your Launchpad, go to Components and select Manage Launchpad:
Next, select the User Menu in the top right corner and select “Factory Reset”. This option will be disabled if your product is not currently connected or recognised by Components. For assistance with this, please get in touch.
Then select Launch factory reset
You'll then see a progress bar, your Launchpad will restart, and you'll see this message to show the reset has been completed.
Launchkey Mini and FLkey Mini
The process is the same for both Launchkey Mini and FLkey Mini. To reset your keyboard, go to Components and select Manage Launchkey Mini/FLkey Mini:
Next, select the User Menu in the top right corner and select “Factory Reset”. This option will be disabled if your product is not currently connected or recognised by Components. For assistance with this, please get in touch.
Then select Launch factory reset
You'll then see a progress bar, your keyboard will restart, and you'll see this message to show the reset has completed.
Launchkey and FLkey
The process is the same for all full-sized models of Launchkey and FLkey. To reset your keyboard, go to Components and select Manage Launchkey/FLkey:
Next, select the User Menu in the top right corner and select “Factory Reset”. This option will be disabled if your product is not currently connected or recognised by Components. For assistance with this please get in touch.
Then select Launch factory reset
You'll then see a progress bar, and then go through Wheel Calibration
Run through the steps and the Factory Reset will be complete:
Launch Control XL 3
To reset your Launch Control XL 3, go to Components and select Manage Launch Control XL 3.
Next, select the User Menu in the top right corner (top left in smaller windows) and select Factory Reset. This option will be disabled if your product is not currently connected or recognised by Components. For assistance with this, please get in touch.
Next, click Launch Factory Reset.
You'll then see a progress bar, your Launch Control XL 3 will restart, and you'll see this message to show the reset has been completed.
Launch Control 3
To reset your Launch Control 3, go to Components and select Manage Launch Control 3.
Next, select the User Menu in the top right corner (top left in smaller windows) and select Factory Reset. This option will be disabled if your product is not currently connected or recognised by Components. For assistance with this, please get in touch.
Next, click Launch Factory Reset.
You'll then see a progress bar, your Launch Control 3 will restart, and you'll see this message to show the reset has been completed.
SL MkIII, Circuit products, Peak and Summit, Bass Station II, Launch Control and Launch Control XL MK1/2
These devices do not feature factory reset, but Factory Packs can be loaded onto the product to retrieve the material it would have had originally.
As shown here for Circuit:
- Expand the Novation Packs list on the left
- Click “Send to Circuit” on the Circuit Factory Pack
There are no Factory Packs available for Launch Control / Launch Control XL MK1/2. The Factory Templates are fixed on the devices.
Sending factory content to these products will reset patches, samples, and templates correspondingly.
