If you find that your MiniNova does not output sound after running a firmware update, you can try installing the firmware attached to this help centre article.
To run the update, the MiniNova will need to be in bootloader mode, which is done by holding Page Left, Page Right and Ok buttons while powering the MiniNova.
Instructions can be found below for Mac and Windows:
Mac
Firstly, download and install SysEx Librarian from this site: https://www.snoize.com/SysExLibrarian/
Then download the SysEx file attached to this article. Open SysEx Librarian and set MiniNova as the destination port:
Drag in the SysEx File and press Play. This will take some time, do not turn off or disconnect the MiniNova during this process. Your MiniNova will restart when finished.
Windows:
Download and install MIDI SysEx Transfer Utility from this page: https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9pfd4ddwgktn?hl=en-US&gl=US
Then download the SysEx file attached to this article. Open the SysEx Transfer Utility, select the MiniNova as the Output Port and open the SysEx file attached to this article.
Click Validate and Send SysEx. This will take some time, do not turn off or disconnect the MiniNova during this process. Your MiniNova will restart when finished.
