If you are seeing a message like this pop up when plugging in your Midi keyboard:
Install the standalone version of Components in a supported computer system, and confirm that the firmware of your device is up-to-date.
- You have access to the download in your account at novationmusic.com, under “My Software”. Go ahead and create an account if you haven't already done so.
- Make sure that your device is registered to your account.
- You will be able to run a firmware update on your device, once it is recognized by components, indicated by a green box in the top right corner of the window.

From here, attempt to close all background apps on your iOS device. You can also restart the device.
