We have seen a couple of cases where Circuit has failed to receive uploaded patches. This leaves the unit looking like it is faulty.

This often occurs on the online components application due to problems with web MIDI. If you are having this issue, please try the standalone version of components, steps on how to access that can be found here. 

Once you have installed Components Standalone, try the following:

1. Remove all batteries and the external PSU.
2. Connect Circuit to your computer via USB.
3. Plug in just the PSU.
4. Hold down SCALE, NOTE, and VELOCITY buttons whilst turning the unit on. You should see some lights come on, this is Bootloader mode.
5. Try to upload the patches again. It should now upload correctly.

Your Circuit should then return to normal operation.
